FeeSetu is operated by Monsoon Tech Solutions. We treat student and customer privacy with utmost seriousness. We never sell, rent, or monetize your students' phone numbers or fee records to third parties.
1. Information We Collect
When teachers register on FeeSetu, we collect basic account details including your name, email address, phone number, and institute name. When you manage your tuition records, you enter student names, parent contact numbers, class designations, and fee amounts.
2. How We Use Student & Fee Information
Student details and payment ledger data are stored exclusively for the purpose of helping you track fee dues, take attendance, and construct pre-formatted reminder messages.
- FeeSetu acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the tuition teacher (Data Fiduciary).
- We do not contact parents or students directly without the teacher's instruction.
- Payment UPI QR codes and links are generated using your own declared payment identifiers.
3. Database Security & Row Level Security (RLS)
FeeSetu utilizes PostgreSQL hosted in secure Supabase cloud infrastructure with strict Row Level Security (RLS). Each teacher's records are cryptographically scoped to their specific authentication UID, preventing unauthorized access by other teachers or unauthorized third parties.
4. WhatsApp Messaging Privacy
When utilizing 1-click WhatsApp reminders, the pre-filled message is opened on your local device (phone or WhatsApp Web) using standard WhatsApp deep links (`wa.me`). Your local device handles the actual transmission of the message under your WhatsApp account's privacy terms.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You maintain full ownership of your data. You may delete individual students, fee records, or request complete account deletion at any time by contacting privacy@feessetu.in. Upon account termination, all corresponding student records and logs are permanently purged within 30 days.
